Make Your Perfect Bed with Bed Bath & Beyond
There is something so satisfying about a bed layered with cozy bedding and a room filled with texture. When I partnered with Bed Bath & Beyond for their Make Your Perfect Bed campaign #AD using Prima Cott sheets, my goal was to create a retreat that I could sink into after a long day and being able to give my truthful and genuine review of the products I chose and of the customer service I received. Being able to incorporate Christmas decor (as it is that time of year!), only made the revamp that much more fun!
Every single person I dealt with through Bed, Bath & Beyond was so helpful, patient and kind. It made my shopping experience both on line and in the store so pleasant. The only issue I ran into was finding the prices on some items, but there was always a customer rep near by to help me out.
The first layer added was the sheets. These Prima Cott sheets are hands down the softest sheets that I’ve owned, and I am a serious sucker for soft sheets (say that 5 times fast). Simple details and a silky feel – like getting into bed at night IS the dream. You can shop the sheets here for American site and here for the Canadian site.
The next layer was the feather, medium weight duvet. The medium weight is just perfect for our needs, but you can get a light weight and a heavy weight, as well, so whatever you need to help you drift off, they’ve got you covered. You can find it here on the Amercian site and here on the Canadian site.
I really wanted to have a vintage look to my bedding; something soft and a little feminine, but not so much so that my hubby didn’t feel like he had a place in the room. This is the duvet I went with:

If you want to go all out, here are the matching shams:
Shams for the American site here and Canadian site here.
Every perfect, cozy bed needs some throw pillows, and these ones worked so well with the bedding I chose. They added texture and warmth, and really fit the look I was going for.

I can not find my exactChristmas pillow on line, but they do have an amazing selection here.
We also decided to go with an upholstered bed, which was kind of exciting after having an iron one for so long! I went with black to help ground the room with all of the white. It is also timeless and classic in its design.
You can find this bed here on the American site and here on the Canadian site.
To top it all off, I layered this beautiful red velvet quilt and shams over the white linen bedding. I just love the look and feel of the red velvet, and that Christmas-y feel is undeniable!

Now, for the pièce de résistance: the carpet! I can not tell you how many of you have asked for this link. It seems to be a favourite! It is a beautiful woven carpet that has such a gorgeous texture to it. Trust me, the pictures don’t even do it justice!
You can find the carpet here on the American site and here on the Canadian site.
I’ve always wanted a bench for the foot of the bed, so decided to look for one to include in this revamp. Bed, Bath & Beyond had so many cute styles to pick from, and I thought this one fit perfectly with my bedroom. It is not too wide, but just wide enough to sit on comfortably to pull on a pair of fuzzy Christmas socks. Sorry I am unable to link the bench at this time but will get back to you.
I decided to go with simple white lamps that I knew I could spruce up myself. I really wanted to add some christmas cheer to them, and feel like I accomplished this by adding this simple cording. I already had this on hand, and easily created a one of a kind christmas lamp. Let me know what you think!

You can’t create a cozy, Christmas bedroom with the perfect bed, without adding a christmas tree. This little, two inch tree came in a metal bucket, and was so well priced – I knew it was the perfect fit for his space.
You can find the tree here on the American site and here on the Canadian site.
For my curtains I want simple and white. I tend to always lean toward clean and simple for window treatments. I wanted them to billow onto the floor, and these ones matched the room effortlessly, and I will easily shift to spring decor when the time comes.
You can find the curtains here on the American site and here on the Canadian site.
My final piece is this family frame. It comes with two picture frames but I only had room for one. I love waking up to the smiling faces of my sweet grand babies. The perfect little accent that is good all year.
You can find the frame here on the American site and here on the Canadian site.
I want to finish with a huge thank you to Bed Bath &
Beyond and their amazing staff for making this bedroom revamp such a pleasure.
If you’ve got any questions please leave them below and please let me know what you think of the final space.

I wanted to know where did you get the bedskirt from and what is it called? Love it!

Hi Raj,
It was from Bed & Bath a couple of years ago. It is actually a coverlete that I used as a bedskirt.
