I lie this dresser. I just bought a broyhill small dresser at Goodwill to practice on for my first piece. The drawers are wood but the outside and top are veneer. Can you tell me if I use your chalk paint recipe will it stick or do I need to prime it? I would appreciate your help if you have time.

It will adhere no problem. Just scuff it up a little first.
