Grateful for…
🍂 golden afternoon light
🐾 a dog who always finds the sunny spot

🧡 little ones who make it all worth it Happy Thanksgiving, friends. What’s on your gratitude list this year? #CanadianThanksgiving #CollectedHome #EnglishCottageStyle #TraditionalHome #CozyHome

Were you here when we renovated this home? 🤍 Some of you have followed along through more than one move and renovation. If you’re newer here, this was the first of three homes we’ve made our own. Looking back, I still love the warm wood, collected pieces and quiet corners that made this house feel like us. These days, we’re giving our 2001 home in New Brunswick a little English cottage soul. I’ll share homes two next. Tell me when you joined us, I’d love to know how long we’ve been connected and where you are from? #designsbykaran #collectedhome #traditionalinteriors #homerenovation #englishcottagestyle

In a world that feels upside down, it isn’t always easy to share the simple things. A quiet room. Morning light. Flowers on the table. A home slowly becoming what you imagined it could be. These things can feel small when so much is happening around us. But I believe there’s value in creating a place that feels warm, familiar and grounding. This little corner of the world is where I share that part of life — a 2001 home we’re slowly giving a little English cottage soul. If you love collected homes, traditional interiors and finding beauty in ordinary days, I hope you’ll stay awhile. 🤍 What’s one small thing that makes your home feel grounding right now? I’d love to hear. 👇 #englishcottage #englishcountrystyle #collectedhome #traditionalinteriors #cottagestyle

Unpopular home opinions I’ve earned the right to have. 🏡 After years of decorating, renovating, changing my mind, changing it back, and learning what actually makes a home feel good… I have a few opinions. 😂 Half white, half wood isn’t a compromise.
Velvet and dogs can absolutely coexist.
And no, everything does not need to match. Some of these you’ll agree with.
At least one of them will probably annoy you. 😅 So tell me — which number are you agreeing with most, and which one are you fighting me on? #InteriorDesignIdeas

Sammie and I want to share our new coffee table ottoman! 🐾💚 The layers are coming together, and this piece feels so right in the room. I love the soft pattern, the traditional shape, and how it brings all of the greens and warm tones together. Thank you @besthomefurnishings — we love how this room is shaping up! #EnglishCottageStyle #CollectedHome #EnglishCountryHome #TraditionalInteriors #CottageInteriors

Trying to give our 2001 home a little English cottage soul. 💚Follow along as we add the layers. Collected art, soft greens, warm woods, old-fashioned florals… all the little things that make a room feel like home. Still evolving, always. Would you call this English cottage, English country… or simply collected? #EnglishCottageStyle #EnglishCountryHome #CollectedHome #CottageInteriors #TraditionalInteriors
