Some projects sit in your mind for years. I remember wanting a plate rack like this in our last house and never quite finding the right place for one. So when we started creating this home, it quietly stayed on my “someday” list. Well… someday finally showed up. 🙌 Tom absolutely knocked this out of the park building it. The wood tone, the carved rails, the beadboard backing - it turned out even better than I pictured. I love pieces like this because they aren’t just decor. They hold the everyday things - plates we actually use, boards from the kitchen, little bits of life tucked in between. Those are the things that make a house feel like home. And now the fun part begins… slowly filling it. Have you ever had a small home project you waited years to finally do? #platerack

Green or white — and it’s wild how much the feeling changes with just paint. One feels cozy, grounded, and collected.
The other feels light, fresh, and open. Neither is right or wrong — it really comes down to how you want a space to feel when you walk through it. Which one feels like home to you… and why? 👇👇👇 Tom is moody and cozy and I’m fresh and open… but a little moody too, especially if you ask Tom 😉

I wish Christmas take-down was actually this fast. ✨ One tree down - one to go! My favourite storage solution for all of our Christmas décor is these rolling bins from Balsam Hill - everything fits so beautifully and packs away with ease. When we moved from Ontario to New Brunswick, not a single ornament was broken. This is exactly how we packed them into the moving truck.
