Finishing plumbing today and then electrical tomorrow.

Wall colour, cause I know you’ll asking Piedmont grey by @benjaminmoore it is my all time fave warm blue/grey.

A day at the ocean. October has been gorgeous her

A day at the ocean. October has been gorgeous here and the weather has been so beautiful for our time with family. The grands loved being out at the water. Sharing some family time as this is where we are at this week. More house Reno’s next week.

We finally got all the kids and grandkids together

We finally got all the kids and grandkids together and what a night! We did the most amazing lighted forest walk I’ve ever seen! The kids, even the 1 year old, were completely mesmerized. If you’re ever in New Brunswick Canada, I highly recommend it! @akadilumina did not disappoint. My daughter’s family is here from Ontario and we are absolutely taking in every single moment of having all the grands in one place!

Being a grandparent is one of the best things ever.

Not my usual decor related stuff but I really hope you’ll enjoy this little video.

I will always love Christmas… It is fun to take

I will always love Christmas…
It is fun to take a look back at Christmases past to see where we might go with it this year. This has been quite the year in. World events have impacted so many. There has been sadness and there has been joy. We have made some changes in our lives, as well. We moved cross country to another province and are starting over. There are many reasons for this move and I don’t need to get into all of them here. But, change is hard. I try to find the joy in all we do. As the house slowly comes together, I’m getting more and more excited to see where things will go.
So many of you have been here for a while and my friends, I want to thank you. It’s been fun renovating and sharing life’s joys with you all.

The house is a work in progress but we are making

The house is a work in progress but we are making progress, begining with our new carpet for the dining room! It’s the Cali CIL-01 Taupe / Natural from @amberinteriors @loloirugs and it is gorgeous! I can’t even!! You can see a small sample of our new floors which go in next week!!! I seriously cannot wait to show you the finished space. Carpet, floors, paint and then built ins and furniture, oh my!
