Blogger’s Spotlight – Faith, Family & Farmhouse Decor
Faith, family and farmhouse decor, what else could you want in a blogger. This weeks feature is Brendt (pronounced Brent – she says the d is silent and she has spent her life explaining that to others), from the blog She Gave It a Go you can check it out here. Brendt has amazing style and gives such wonderful tips and shares some great DIY projects as well. Here is one of her blog posts on Fall Decorating. So many pretty elements in each of her spaces.
I have known Brendt for about 9 months now and I absolutely love following along on her journey, both on Instagram and on her blog. On her blog she shares her passions as well as her faith, along with her great decor. She told me she started her blog a little over a year ago to help with her creative expression. She first began that journey looking for a place to share her creative side and her passions. She really wanted the ability to combine her love of decor, her faith and her family life into something that she could share and encourage and uplift others with. It was a way for her to express herself both creatively and spiritually. She is a momma to 4 kids and I’d have to say one busy boss lady!
Her personal style is farmhouse/modern farmhouse and you can see her home here on Instagram daily, check her page out. She also has a wonderful course on How to Collaborate with Companies, that she has recently started. It is 6 week course that you take via email (so it is flexible to your busy schedule, how awesome is that) You can get all the details here. These are her tried and true strategies! Talk about giving back.
One of the things I love about Brendt is her ability to highlight others and to share the spotlight, you will find other bloggers featured throughout her blog as well. Giving back is something she does so beautifully. She combines her faith, her family life and Farmhouse decor so beautifully throughout her blog.
In one of her recent posts she talks about Joy As A Spiritual Discipline.
What a wonderful and enlightening blog post. Here is a brief excerpt from her post “Joy is not something we manufacture on our own. It flows from a heart that is Christ-centered. Joy is an ongoing state of mind and heart for the Christ-follower.” You can read the rest of it here. I know you will enjoy her passion.
Getting out there and sharing your soul and your heart is not an easy thing to do, you will discover that Brendt wears her heart on her sleeve and is such a bright light.
Another post that I found really helpful was How To Decorate With Neutrals in The Fall, she gives some great tips and shows some great ideas. You can read the post here.
She also shares some great product advice and I know you’ll love her post on The Best Kitchen Sink She Has Ever Owned. I found it very insightful. You can read it here.
She shares a weekly newsletter you can sign up for here.

I really hope you enjoyed learning a little more about this wonderfully talented blogger and her faith, her family and her ability to create the most beautiful farmhouse decor! I know I did!
